I have a small area (about 1×2 inches) that got scuffed up deep to the abs plastic on my motorcycle fairing which i would like to fix. Is it possible for me to paint the area by taping off and working on the damaged area? If so, what is the procedure and will it be able to blend into the original paint job if done so correctly?

This might be a stupid question, but I was just wondering if an auto customization place that paints cars would also paint a motorcycle. And if so, how much would it cost?
It would be the tank, front fender fairing, and the two fairings on each side. Rims and frame would stay as is. So I would be removing and just dropping the stuff off.

I left my motorcycle battery on the concrete floor in my garage for months and it went bad. My mechanic buddy working on my bike said that was a well known no-no but didn’t know the prinicple behind it. In the end, we couldn’t get another charge into the battery.

How exactly does a floor kill the battery like that?

Hi all. What is the best way to install auxiliary lights (2 driving t light at both sides) to motorcycle? Is it OK to connect directly to high beam or low beam circuit (need to replace with more Amper fuse if you this way), or open a new circuit for auxiliary lights? If open new circuit, how to do it? He needs a home study course, preferably on-line, to become a qualified motorcycle electrician. We have a trike he can woork on if he needs to practice! His job’s irregular hours means evening classes are out of the question. Mechanics are easy to fidn, but there is a sever shortage of electrical engineers for motorbike. Any/all suggestions welcome. Anybody have any idea how much it would cost to purchase and have installed, new front and rear forks, a back rim, new tires, and a new battery on a 1992 Yamaha 600 FZR Motorcycle? I live in nassau county in NY if it makes any difference for the price.

im redoing my motorcycle in flat black, and am wondering what type of spray paint to go buy. anyone have some suggestions on brands, type, number of coats and whether or not to use a clear coat as well? any help would be great! thanks!
